NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Vigo County Board of Commissioners has been petitioned to permanently vacate a certain portion of a right of way in Vigo County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: The North sixteen feet (16') of a 40' (foot) road right of way (Highland Ave) running East and West and lying immediately South of Lot 109 and Lot 110, beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 109, then running East to the Southeast corner of Lot 110, then running South 16' parallel with the East line of Lot 110, then running West to the West line of Lot 109 extended, then North 16" to the point of beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 109. This is within Smith Park Place Subdivision, being a subdivision in part of the Southwest and Southeast Quarters of Section 18, Township 12 North, Range 9 West, Sugar Creek Township, Vigo County, Indiana as recorded in Plat Record 10, Page 23 in the Office of the Vigo County Recorder. Subject to all existing easements. A hearing on the petition will be held on Tuesday August 27th, 2024 at 9: 00 A.M., E.S.T., in the Vigo County Council Chambers, 650 S. 1st Street, Terre Haute, Indiana. JAMES W.
