Notice is hereby given that Seth Recknor has filed with the Vermillion County Board of Zoning Appeals, Petition # 2026-03 for a Special Exception to place a Temporary Recreational Vehicle Park and Petition # 2026-09 for a Variance in the setback requirements on the following real estate located for real estate located in Eugene Township, Vermillion County, Indiana, commonly known as 360-372 W Jackson Street, Cayuga, IN 47928

Part of the SE ¼ of Section 30 and the NE ¼ of Section 31, Township 18 North, Range 9 West of the 2nd P.M., Vermillion County, Indiana, described as follows: Beginning 664 feet west of the southwest corner of Lot 4 of the Original Town of Eugene, Indiana; thence west along Jackson street extended for 186 feet; thence deflect 90 degrees to the right northerly along Slaughter House Road for 342 feet; thence deflect 90 degrees to the right easterly for 146 feet; thence deflect 90 degrees to the left northerly for 119 feet; thence deflect 90 degrees to the right easterly for 40 feet; thence deflect 90 degrees to the right southerly for 461.1 feet to the place of beginning, containing 1.67acre, more or less. The Board of Zoning Appeals will conduct a public hearing on this petition in the Commissioner's Courtroom, second floor of the Vermillion County Courthouse, Newport, Indiana, on the 11th day of June 2026, immediately following the 6:00 PM Area Plan Commission meeting.

Interested parties may voice an opinion at the public hearing and/or file written comments beforehand in the Zoning Office, second floor of the courthouse in Newport for consideration regarding the petition. No person, firm, corporation, public employee or body politic shall contact any member of the Board of Zoning Appeals orally, or in writing, in advance of a public hearing on a case pending for a decision. Any person, firm, corporation, public employee or body politic may appear in person, by agent or by attorney at the public hearing and submit evidence or present testimony germane to the issue in controversy where the opposing party is permitted to present rebuttal evidence and testimony. A copy of the proposal may be examined in the Zoning Office between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday. The hearing may be continued from time to time as may be found necessary.

NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS OF ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATION Notice is hereby given to the taxpayers of the school corporation known as Vigo County School Corporation (the "School Corporation") that the Board of School Trustees (the "Board") of the School Corporation will meet at the Administration Building Board Room, 501 West Olive Street, West Terre Haute, Indiana, at the hour of 6:00 p.m. (Local Time) on August 26, 2024, to consider the following additional appropriation of the 2024B bonds (the "2024B Bonds") which the Board has determined to issue. The Board considers such additional appropriation necessary to meet the need existing at this time: An appropriation in the amount of $6,350,000 from the proceeds of the 2024B Bonds, including all original issue premium and all investment earnings thereon, to be deposited in the School Corporation's Construction Fund (Fund #2301) on account of the renovation of and improvements to school facilities, including administrative facilities, elementary and middle schools' general maintenance, roofing, paving, systems, and site improvements and the purchase of equipment and technology (the "Maintenance Project") in the School Corporation, including the incidental expenses necessary to be incurred in connection with the Maintenance Project and the issuance of 2024B Bonds on account thereof.
