NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that the Vigo County Board of Commissioners has been petitioned to permanently vacate a certain portion of a right of way in Vigo County, Indiana, more particularly described as follows: All that portion of a 15' (foot) alley right of way running East and West and lying immediately South of Lots 85,86,87,88, and 89 in Elroy Smith's 2nd Subdivision and immediately North of Lots 31,32,33,34,35,36, and 37 in Englewood Subdivision . Beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 85, then running East to the Southeast corner of Lot 90, then running South to the North Lot line of Lot 37, then running West to the Northwest corner of Lot 31, then back to the beginning at the Southwest corner of Lot 85. This is within Elroy Smith's 2nd Subdivision and Englewood Subdivision, being two subdivisions in the Southeast Quarter of Section 36, Township 13 North, Range 9 West, Otter Creek Township, Vigo County, Indiana as recorded in Plat Record 8, Page 16-17 in the Office of the Vigo County Recorder. Subject to all existing easements. A hearing on the petition will be held on Tuesday August 27th, 2024 at 9: 00 A.M., E.S.T., in the Vigo County Council Chambers, 650 S. 1st Street, Terre Haute, Indiana. JAMES W.
