Notice is hereby given that the Dana Town Council, at a meeting held on the 12th day of May, 2026, approved two resolutions giving preliminary approval to the declaration of an area commonly known as 5700 S. SR 71 and 225 Briarwood Avenue, Dana Indiana 47847 as Economic Revitalization Area for the purpose of real and personal property tax abatements.

The Resolution also gave preliminary approval to AC Grain LLC's request for eight (8) year real and personal property tax abatements for new real estate improvements and personal property to be located in the Area.

A full legal description of the proposed Economic Revitalization Area and copies of the Preliminary Resolutions are available for public inspection in the Dana Town Hall 144 N Maple Street, Dana, Indiana 47847.

Notice is hereby given that on the 9th day of June, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., the Dana Town Council will meet at Dana Town Hall, 144 N. Maple Street, Dana, Indiana 47847, for the purpose of hearing and considering any remonstrances filed or presented by persons interested in or affected by said Resolutions and for the purpose of taking final action with respect to the Resolutions by determining whether the qualifications for an Economic Revitalization Area have been met and confirming, modifying or rescinding the Resolutions approving the abatements.
